What is the 1908 Society?

The 1908 Society is a group of Clubs who registered with the R & A in 1908. The objective is to promote friendship between Clubs and enable members to play at each other’s courses on a reciprocal basis. It is agreed that where Clubs are more than 50 miles apart, no green fee would be charged however there are a few exceptions where a reduced fee is paid.
